Wednesday VirtueVerse Updates

I have made significant upgrades to our page on VirtueVerse. I'd like to thank Alice and Ivy for making pages there; I've added those links to our blog here.

I have revised our page to emphasize the "crime school" nature of the Sorority, and to include some of the curriculum which the girls learn "offstage" when we're not RPing or missioning. This includes everything from martial arts to political science and business management -- all skills which a successful super-villainess will need. Feel free to work your academic life into your RP to whatever degree you wish.

I added the "Seven Deadly Sins" organizational structure to our faculty. This was discussed here on the blog and I'd like to take it out for a spin. I think the key to this is interpreting each of the sins broadly and not letting it be a limit to our RP. Kelli had some great ideas on how seemingly-unattractive sins could in fact become deadly criminal motifs. And I can't believe we don't have a Lust yet, but surely it won't be the last position filled.

I added a bit on the sorority house, to explain all those parts of the house which are "offstage" from our actual in-game base. Ivy asked for a succubus, so I bound Consuela in the attic. Please remember personal recreation time should not infringe on your studies.

Finally, I got the idea that we have begun targeted advertising to wealthy, successful supervillains who are also parents. These families would get literature about Sigma, offering the school's elite criminal education and inviting parents to bring their girls in for a visit. This is a way for potential new students to come to us if, for example, their parents were criminals. It also might give us some good RP.

Check it all out, and if you have anything you would like to change or add, and you don't want to do it yourself, just let me know.

Someones a busy Headmistress!!! I can't wait to see the updates, and will check as soon as I get home!

I'm glad ypu do these updates. I was mentally composing an email earlier to ask you about some of the things you've already covered in the update! Yay for minds that think alike or some silliness like that.

I like the idea of a cirriculum. It's one of those immersion things that adds a bit of reality to it.

Courses I have referenced from other characters include:

Comparative Mythology and Practical Applications in the Modern Age.
-This course goes into details of various world mythologies and how they compare and apply in a world with heroes, magic and science.

Preternatural Biology
-Werewolves and other shapeshifters, Vampires, Vampyrs, WarWolves, Nictus, Hellfrosts, Succubi, Hordlings, etc etc..

Robotics
Cellular Biology
Recombinant DNA Theory and Application

Ancient Artifacts 101 - General
Ancient Artifacts 202 - Cursed

Daemonology
- Identification of Daemons
- Proper use of summoning circles, students must bring their own knives, salt and candles.
Demonology
- Identification of Demons
--Labs
- Proper use of summoning circles, students must bring their own knives, salt and candles.

Seminar: Did Frankenstein Exist? Theories of Victorian Sciences

Kelli is enrolled in Charisma's other class:

Infiltration 205: Entrance or Escape By Direct Force
(Or as K says, "when shit hits the fan
101").

Charisma teaches weapons combat at a basic level, infiltration, and basic theivery courses. Please, don't hesitate to contact me if you want to enroll in any of them, and I'll draw up a sylabus to let you know the topics covered in the Summer courses.

Wow, you HAVE been busy! The page looks great!

A quick question pertaining to the 'Chairs' of each Sin: Would it be utterly ridiculous to have a 'Sin' costume? I'm flashing back to the ritualistic robes of the Hellfire club meetings, specifically, though it might be interesting (if it's possible) to design a custom costume for each one, befitting the title that the character holds.

I love the idea of a "formal" outfit for your particular Sin. Maybe, instead of having one costume for everyone, we should just require it be in the House colors.

I could keep my Roman Armour outfit for Pride, but change the white to black in SG mode and call it good.

I need the laurel leaf crown from the Valentine's Day mission.

I -might- still have a V-day mission or two on an alt. Maybe next Wednesday we can warm up with it? I'll look into it!

Oh, one other thing. There does exist a SIN uniform for students, that I'd be happy to show off to any who want to add it to their pool, or have ideas for making it a bit nicer. Its pretty damn basic at the moment, but I look hawt in it, and that's all that matters.
